July 15, 2012, Day 7 - 16.4 miles:
Ben's air mattress popped, so we planned to get to the Vermillion Resort tonight to find him a new one. We missed the ferry by 5 mins. So now we wait til the morning. But it gave us some time to map out the last 100 miles and explore this little beach / lake area. The rock & sand feel great on my feet. We built a fire and don't have to wake up at 6. It's been a very relaxing day - and still 16 mi. Productive! Thank the Lord for sand that will make a mattress-less sleep a little less painful. "And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." James 1:4

1. Good morning hike around a lake. || 2. This is a rock chair. || 3. On top of Silver Pass. || 4/5/6. Dinner, water, bonfire on a beach, watching the sun set and waiting for the the morning ferry to VR.
